My name is Karen,

I am the proud owner of The Willow Sugaring & Skin. My journey towards owning a spa began with a deep desire to create a space that fosters not only skin ritual results but inclusivity, healing, and human to human connection. Don’t get me wrong, I love the results that I provide in the treatment room but my all-time favorite part is getting to know my clients! Human connection has always been incredibly important to me and in a time where technology is consuming us, live connection has become more of a rarer experience. This is something I hold strong to provide in my space.

Over the years of being a licensed esthetician, I have been humbled and inspired by all of my clients' life stories and experiences. Through many of these stories, I have gathered that when we prioritize self-care, we are better equipped to navigate life’s challenges and stressors. I am your ultimate hype girl that reminds you that taking care of yourself is not a selfish act - it is a necessary investment in your own well-being that will bring a beautiful ripple effect in all areas of your life. Our policies

  • Our cancellation policy requires that you notify us at least 24 hrs before your scheduled appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule. Failure to do so may result in a charge of up to 100% of your service fee. We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, so please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make any changes to your appointment. Thank you for your understanding.

  • As we set appointments back to back, we do not have a grace period. Arriving late may result in a shortened appointment time with possibly not being able to provide the full service or the need to rescheduled completely. Please note that if any of the above occurs, the full service fee will still be charged for the estheticians taken time. We strive to accommodate all of our clients and maintain a timely schedule, so we ask that you arrive on time to ensure you receive the full service that you have booked. If you anticipate being late, please contact us as soon as possible to let us know.

  • At The Willow, safety is paramount to us. We enforce a one-person policy. If you find yourself in a situation where you need to bring a second party, they are welcome to wait in the spa’s lounge area at the front entrance. Thank you for your understanding.

  • We kindly request to not bring children to the spa mainly for safety purposes. As a mother myself, I am fully aware that there are situations that cannot be helped. We ask that you text us to let us know that your child is coming along so that we can organize the spa appropriately for safety measures. Thank you for your cooperation.

  • As we are a business that often handles sensitive and intimate areas, we ask that you refrain from video recording of any sort during services. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Thank you for your cooperation.

  • We do not offer refunds for any services rendered. If you are dissatisfied with your service, please contact us immediately as it is extremely important for us to provide only but the best for our clients.

  • At The Willow, we are more than capable to sugar clients while on their monthly periods. We kindly ask to place a fresh tampon before your appointment. Please note that this is not a valid reason to same day cancel your appointment. Please feel free to cancel or reschedule 24 hrs before your appointment to avoid any fees.
